Welcome to the Watertown Middle School, the home of 600 students in seventh and eighth grade. While our main emphasis is in the academic area, our students find time to participate in basketball, football, gymnastics, volleyball, wrestling, track, and tennis as well as forensics and drama productions.

In order to accentuate the academics and keep the middle school philosophy at the same time, we do have accelerated classes in mathematics and reading. At this point, all students are randomly placed in language arts, science, and physical education. Our team concept is designed to have some lower ability, average ability students, and gifted students on each of the three groups in the two grades.
