Director of Fund Development- Arrow Education Foundation
The Watertown School District is excited to announce the hiring of Cris Ortmeier as the new Director of Fund Development for the Arrow Education Foundation. Cris has been working as a Marketing/Admissions Assistant at Lake Area Technical College for the last 2 years. She was previously a realtor for 14 years in Watertown prior to that. She replaces Jon Solum, who is still working at the Foundation during the transition. Cris and her husband Shane have 2 children. Alex who is a WHS graduate and a LATC graduate from the Energy Tech program and Grace who is currently a senior at WHS. Cris is active in the community and has served on multiple volunteer boards in recent years.
Arrow Education Board President, Brian Buisker, has this to say about Cris Ortmeier, “We looked for someone not afraid to fulfill the mission of the Arrow Education Foundation. Cris’s willingness to put her personal efforts towards various community fundraising causes is a big plus for this position. We are excited for her to start.”
Cris will begin her duties with the Arrow Education Foundation on April 18th, 2022.
