Fourth Grade students honored our veterans today. Troop 8 presented the flags and demonstrated the folding of the flag. Students started the program with honoring a veteran by reading information about them and then
singing of the Star Spangled Banner.
Other songs included: A time to Remember, I love that Grand Old Flag, Welcome Home, and We Honor You. Many speaking parts were given to the students. A medley of Armed Forces songs were played and veterans in the audience were recogniz
ed for their service having been given a flag when they entered the gymnasium. Thank you to ALL veterans for your service and our FREEDOM!
