Learning to write music helps 2nd grade students understand how music works. It builds creativity, strengthens rhythm reading skills, and gives students a way to express their own musical ideas.

Last week, one of Mrs. Weber's students read "you are enough" to her class. A book about inclusion and kindness to others. Together, they discussed celebrating differences, embracing uniqueness and showing empathy to others. After discussing the book and ways they can show kindness to others; the students each created a card that will be delivered to children currently at the children's hospital in Sioux Falls.
