This collection of visual supports and other resources provides examples of various strategies that can be used to support students on the autism spectrum, as well as others with and without disabilities. Some of these visuals have also been used as part of a school’s Response to Intervention (RTI) or as part of School-wide Positive Behavior Supports (PBIS). Many of the visuals can also be used with families to assist their son/daughter at home. Others may benefit adults on the spectrum, as well.
The Florida Center for Reading Research is based out of Florida State University. Use this site, in addition to What Works Clearinghouse, to help guide decisions made into literacy-related skills for your students. This web site will provide multidisciplinary research and highlight studies of effective prevention and intervention for reading.
What Works Clearinghouse is a great resource for special education teachers and therapists. Here you will find research on different intervention programs and products, best practices, and policies in education. Use this site to help you make evidence-based decisions using high-quality research.

The South Dakota Department of Education is a great web site that will provide you with special education resources and templates. Technical assistance documents are very helpful throughout the paper work process for special education.
The Watertown School District's Special Education Google Classroom provides you with access to IEP forms, technical assistance documents, in-service power points, best practices, skill based assessments, and more. Your one stop shop for many of the documents you will need.
